Camera enumerates but no frames

That is almost always kernel/driver, not the adapter. The board only remaps pins and shifts I2C. If i2cdetect or the kernel log shows the sensor but GStreamer/rkaiq never produces frames, you are in overlay / IQ / rkisp territory.

• Confirm the overlay in /etc/default/u-boot matches this sensor and CSI port, then u-boot-update and reboot.
• rkaiq_3A enabled. A black preview often means no tuning file for that sensor.
• Reseat both FPCs, contacts up. Pin 1 top-right.
• Check Compatibility before assuming the hardware is bad. HQ (IMX477) is not sold as tested.

Email contact@tachynlabs.com with: board (OPi 5 / 5 Plus / …), camera module, OS image, overlay line, and whether I2C enumerates. Include a photo of the seated cables if you can.

Warranty is replacement of defective boards only — “doesn’t work on my Armbian image” is a software issue, not a defect. See Returns & Warranty.
